Here in Mary-land our Chesapeake Bay watermen use a similiar boat of crabing, fishing for Rockfish(Bass) and oysters! Some look just as yours does and they do very well!

That’s exactly what it is. I took the family down to Ocean City, and my son said “look at that fancy boat”. I said I bet that thing would out catch us any day of the week.
