I returned recently from my first visit to the Swiss Alps - stunning. I have read that the Matterhorn is the most photographed mountain in the world, but I'm going to share a couple of shots anyway. The first was taken from Zermatt at sunset, which this time of year seems to offer better light than at sunrise. The classic shot from Riffelsee (like the one that Adobe uses for Lightroom Classic) was a mob scene when I was there, but you lose alot of people by going to the small pond a couple of hundred yards to the west (2nd image). The 3rd-5th images were taken in/near Wengen, which is a spectacular place. Thanks for looking.

Happy Dan and Bill - thanks for your comments. It was a trip I had been trying to make for decades.
Yes, these bring back memories. Great views, well caught. Perhaps not decades in active planning but certainly a dream goal of sorts. We aren't big travelers and after the jitters about the plane trips and possible schedule problems or the luggage takes a different trip, it was "Please Lord, don't let the Matterhorn be socked in..." It wasn't and the Lauterbrunnen area was also magnificent.
