I recorded some video on my G9 today. When I went to view them on my desktop, I get an error message saying the file uses unsupported settings. What am I doing wrong? I was able to play one of the videos in camera.
I use Windows 11 with the player that came with the PC. I have just downloded Quiktime to see if that makes a difference. Which player should I use? Someone of my Lumix FB forum suggested the VLC player. It worked like a charm.
I have been using VLC player on both Windows and Mac for years. Another player that I like, and you may want to try, is Media Player Classic (MPC). https://mpc-hc.org
This has not been under development since 2017, but the player should work well today.
Thank you. I will check that one out too. I went to the website, and it seems that the project to develop the media player ended in 2017. I will google it and see if I can download it elsewhere.
