Japan-U.S. trade deal is now set with 15% tariffs going both ways. The good here is that manufacturers/distributors can now set prices and plan for the future. Also, with Vietnamese tariffs set, manufacturing planning can go forward. China (Aug. 12 deadline), E.U.(Aug. 1 deadline), Canada (Aug. 1 deadline) and Mexico (Aug. 1 deadline) remain unresolved. Likely, these negotiations aren’t going smoothly and with a smile, another 90 day extension will be agreed upon.
