I was walking out of the Marine nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY when I ran into a group of my friends. While we were chatting a green heron flew to a tree near us. We all took photos of it and then it took off and went down into a stream out of view. We continued to chat and eventually the greeny walked along the stream into view yet in a rather ugly environment. I chose to sit down on the bank and wait for opportunities with nice backgrounds. The green heron continued fishing and have a very successful time at it never missing and getting close and closer to me. Eventually I took the burst that this image is from and decided it was time to go home.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
Ps. The dark spot behind the fish is a muscle shell.
