p.1 #1 · Replacement 30" Monitor, main for Mac Studio
My NEC PA302w has fried in the recent heat after years of service. It was v pricey but has lasted multiple ties its Dell predecessor.
Unfortunately, NEC don't seem to have a successor, at least here in Blighty.
Looking at 27" monitors, I find them too pokey after using 30" for years. I looked at the Mac Studio and the XDR and, regrettably the 6k, 30: monitor felt far more comfortable to me, if not to the prospects for my wallet.
I use Macs most of the time, but have a PC or two that I mainly acess through the Remote Desktop, so could probably live with a monitor that didn't support Windows.
The Apple XDR Display is years old, so I wondered whether others had more modern displays that they had found were a step up from the Display XDR, for photo editing, video consumption, internet browsing, etc.
The rumours sites don't suggest that a new Apple Monitor is in the wings with TB4 and higher refresh rate, but who knows.
Should I save up for the XDR, or are any of the Dell, BenQ, Asus, Acer, LG ... monitors with better connectivity a better buy all around anyway??
