Here’s a recent black-and-white image from my trip to Tuscany — a small grove of cypress trees I’ve always wanted to photograph. I’ve shot this location before in color, but this time I focused on a minimalist black-and-white approach to emphasize the mood and isolation.
Just beautiful brother! The absence of color makes it essential to choose the location well IMHO. Tuscany provides that location. You found a place with strong contrasts, lines or silhouettes, a place that is distinctive and striking. The foreboding sky just makes the emotion of the image pop!
Well done!
