p.1 #1 · Om for macro

I keep jumping in and out of OM System to return to Nikon. I love my Nikon, but feel the OM System is much better for macro. I am torn on whether to get a used OM1 mark 1 or OM5 mark I. I don’t want to spend a fortune, because I intend to keep my Nikon for now. Any thoughts about which way to go would be appreciated

Well, I made the decision, I just picked a new to me OM1, Mark1, and a 60 mm macro. I am now back in the M43 camp.

Same boat. Probably back to MFT soon, too.

I have the 60mm macro and am enjoying it for ground-based objects.

I also got the leofoto focusing rail which has been fun to use. https://www.leofoto.com/products_detail.php?id=539. I have not used it on the ground as the images portray and instead mount it on my short, sturdy tripod.

Are you using incamera stacking? EM1 Mk3 also has this feature.
