Goto ProCapture mode SH2. Press AF on (BBF). Half press shutter. You'll get the whirlygig in the VF. Aim at bird. Keep the AF button pressed, and the half-press on the shutter. When bird flies fully press the shutter (from half-press).
This after you set up Procapture for how many shots before and after the full shutter press.
I see the whirlygig in the viewfinder buy I don't see the number of shots decreasing. Is what you are saying is that OF-ON only focuses and does not start ProCapture's pre-recording of shots?

Correct. AF on starts the AF, hal-press on the shutter starts the buffer filling.
Number of shots doesn't decrease in the EVF till you full press the shutter I think. Number of shots is set in Sequential Shooting Settings. Scroll down to ProCap SH2, then to the sub menu.
