p.1 #1 · ND filters when shooting InfraRed

Wondering if anyone uses Neutral Density filters when shooting InfraRed images?

Digital IR is what I am using.

If I put on a strong ND filter will the effect be close to what I see with a normal sensor?

I'll experiment but if someone is doing it might help with some starting information from your experience.

I do like the lack of Reciprocityi failure with digital compared to shooting film - though I still use film for some work.

Hi Daniel,

I suggest that you should move this post to the General Gear forum, or to a dedicated forum if it matches your gear (i.e. Canon, Sony, etc.). (Almost) nobody reads this forum.
