I had forgotten that I had a 950 nm filter for my lens. So, I gave it a try. Since it is so dark, it needs more exposure. I either have to jack up the ISO, or lower the shutter speed. I tried both. I prefer a lower ISO, but on a windy day I get motion blur. Can't win with that! Here is a low ISO image on a windy day.

2025:07:04 10:38:09 : NIKON D810 : 24-120mm f/4.0 : 40mm : 100 ISO : F6.3 : 0.4 sec : 1 EV : 950 nm

I should have taken a high ISO image today, but did not do that. I did make an image yesterday.

2025:07:03 11:43:32 : NIKON D810 : 24-120mm f/4.0 : 44mm : 640 ISO : F4 : 1/30 sec : 1 EV : 950 nm

The soft glow of the foliage and that dramatic contrast in the sky create such a surreal, almost timeless atmosphere. Gorgeous use of infrared, haunting and beautiful in the best way. 👍🏻
