The thunderstorms in the background provided a dramatic backdrop for the low angle assignment. I got lucky when the sun peaked out and highlighted Cassidy, the rescue donkey.
I am late to the party Leah! INDEED just a wonderful composition! Perfect natural background and the focal perspective adds 3D vibe to the image! I envy you the ablility to rescue creatures. I have started not saying "an animal" because of the denotation being used relating to violence by humans on every creature. If I had the means to do something like this I would!

The stars definitely aligned for this shot. I was using my EF 16-35 and pretty contorted to get such a low shot from ground level. I'm sure he was wondering what the crazy human was doing, lol.
