p.2 #1 · Official Nikkor Z 28-400mm f4-8 VR Lens Images Thread
I bought this lens when it was first offered to professional services before seeing any reviews on the theory it was just what I needed for light carry sometimes with a Z7II and sometimes with a heavier Z8. From the first moment I tried it I have not been disappointed. Yes it is slow, which is sometimes limiting outdoors, and it is not quite as sharp as my heavier 100-400, but as an all in one when I want or need for a lighter single lens it does the job. These photos were just captured on the American River in Bristol Bay, Alaska and show two young bear siblings brother and sister who were likely forced out of mom's care so she could have have another reproductive cycle looking for mate. Boars do not like young bears around. The young bears now on their own are remaining together for a while, sharing and brawling as they have so far in life, looking a bit uncertain about life, but have each other for support until their individual confidence grows to make their own individual way in life. These are the 28-400 lens on a Z8.
