Wondering how many of you have gotten Project Indigo a new beta camera app for the iPhone from Adobe. Prromises to capture more realistic, less HDR looking photos. I just started experimenting two days ago and haven't reached any conclusions.
I've been playing with the Adobe Indigo app for a couple of days now. My initial impression is positive: at least the "super resolution" setting at 2x (ca. 48mm equivalent) that I tried produces results that I find appealing after a quick and easy trip through Lightroom Mobile.
My most-most used focal length is 35mm, though, which doesn't receive that same magic resolution treatment, but is instead just a standard crop that seems weaker than the 1X or 2X images. I can live with that: I often take just a 25mm and 50mm when I'm walking.
I'll be interested in your impressions. This is new to me: the iPhone 15 Pro that I inherited from my daughter replaced my old SE just as I left for the eastern Sierra. I tried using the phone there a bit while my wife happily snapped away to produce images that she likes but which to me seem overcooked. I suppose that I could use Apple Pro Raw in addition or in place of Indigo if I could learn to use that program, but at present I think that I'll concentrate on using Indigo as my default for the iPhone.
