There is an overage in the supply chain due to uncertainty of import taxes. It's uneven though, with some parts being on sale and other being higher priced already. Now is not a bad time to buy if you know what you want.
I think people forget the USA is the biggest market in the world. By far! Tariffs or no tariffs there will always be a glut of Canon Cameras. And cheap and many sales.
Don't get caught up in the click bait sites like Canon Rumors just trying to get you to spring for a retail camera so they can get their cut.

I try not to be political on this forum, but I am incensed by his behavior.

Actually Europe buys more photo equipment and South East Asia is climbing fast.
