A couple more from Grand Prismatic.
Notice the wolf and bear tracks in the last image?
Sadly about a month after we were there, we read about a bison slipping into the scalding water and not surviving.

I've been jealous of everyone and their owl photos recently, but this beauty visited me tonight and all of those feelings went away. This is the only one sharp from the set, but it's all I can ask for shooting handheld at 1/10 sec shutter speed.
Some backyard shots. The first two are of an old spruce stump with some fungus growing. Admittedly I placed the three poplar leaves, sort of randomly. The yellow poplar leaves are our first sign that autumn is approaching.
The last one is some goldenrod with some kind of insect having a meal.
