I found a different brand of owl. S/he wasn't particularly cooperative light or distance wise, but at least I know where s/he lives and I sure will return when the season is more favorable.

A slow shutter portrait with Kenzie. This was 1/4 shutter, handheld. This worked because she has a strong stay command. She knows she will get a treat soon . R1 + 100-300mm with the Atomos monitor as my screen for the lower angle.
Four months of work on the backyard down the drain in 50 mins. The wildest monsoon storm I've ever witnessed, rain, hail wind, thunder, lightening, it all took it's toll.

I feel guilty liking the image after all of your hard work. But I still did.
