To be fair, there aren't many birds willing to take on the dagger of a woodpecker beak. At my feeders it's the Red-bellied Woodpeckers that rule -- nothing messes with them!

That’s really up close and personal Ted. Yeah I don’t think it would be very wise to take on a woodpecker. Although for most other birds, the Blue Jays dominate in my backyard. Great shot.

At my feeder the red bellied run from everyone, even sparrows. I was very surprised to see this.
