I just got back from an incredible vacation in northern Italy, and without a doubt, the highlight was Venice. The city's beauty, charm, and timeless atmosphere completely swept me away.
Beautiful start, Marcelo. I'm sure I can speak for all of us here in saying we're looking forward to seeing more of your excellent images from that fantastic city.

This is a really lovely image and Venice is on my list when I get back to Italy. Love the geometry and the tones. Did you remove the people in PP?

Thank you everyone for the kind comments, shooting early in the morning to avoid the crowds was a really good idea.
You can visit my second post with more captures off Venice.
I have literally never seen a picture of Piazza San Marcos empty, let alone in the middle of summer peak tourist season. How early did you have to get up to get this!?

Lee, I left my RB&B at 4:00 am, I walked from the North West side of Canareggio taking pictures on my way and arrived to the Piazza at 5:15 am.
