Last year, I traveled to Paris for the Olympic Games. After the events, a local friend and I embarked on a three-day trip to Normandy. Our first stop was Etretat, a small beach area that, believe me, is incredibly popular with locals and completely packed during the summer—there's barely an inch of space on the beach! (Be sure to check out the last picture for proof!) It was surreal and peaceful in the morning with just a few people, a stark contrast to the thousands that filled the beach during the day.
I chose to stay at the Dormy Hotel, which offered a crucial parking spot. This was a lifesaver, as I noticed many visitors had to park a mile or two away. Since I was only there for one night, I seized the opportunity to photograph the area at sunset right from the hotel. The following morning, I explored the cliffs and beach at sunrise to capture more shots. Here’s what I captured. Thanks for viewing, and all comments and critiques are welcome!

Love the color and contrast in #1
#2 just has the right feel, lovely
Great silhouette #3
Nice light #4
#5 bold, nice warm light at top
#6 would love to have seen a really low POV using the pebbles
#7 for me, too crowded but a beautiful place to see!!

Beautiful series. The first two stand above the rest.
Thanks Rajan, 1 and 2 are my personal favorite too. One night is not enough for this place. Hopefully, will have an opportunity to visit again.

Thanks Karl, always appreciate your detailed feedback. Good point about using a low POV on #6. I was really drawn to the the light on the pebbles.
I just couldn't believe how many folks were there! If I didn't have my local friend with me, I would have not found parking. It was way too croweded everywhere.
