p.1 #1 · Charger for Nikon Battery

Looking for a charger for my Nikon EN-EL15c Batteries, a charger that hold 2 batteries is a bonus, does it have to be a Nikon?
I saw a Watson brand on B&H - is this any good? could I get recommendations for chargers, are some chargers faster than others? will they harm the battery?

I use this one when traveling and it is really nice because of how small it is. Charges well also. It’s out of stock at B&H right now but might be able to find it elsewhere.

Nitecore works really well.

I also use this one.

I use Manfrotto for years now with no issue so far. I just prefer to have battery level readout so I know
which battery needs charging. In the field, I have a pouch with multiple batteries and I throw in battery
that is already used in the same pouch so when I want to recharge, sticking battery into charger, I know right away
if I put in the used one or one that is fully charged. ( I know some people may say, why not just put used battery
into separate pouch etc but I find this works well for me ).

I like the idea of taking two or three Nikon MH-25A chargers, plugging them into a 3-way cube tap. I've also used the Manfrotto (AKA Hahnel) cube. It works, the readout is nice, and the reason I acquired it is because it can operate directly from 12VDC.

The Nitecore UNK2 is decently built, but it switches back and forth every few seconds to charge the two batteries so is not an efficient way to charge two batteries. The integrated cable is very stiff and too short. It does have a useful, tiny display. I'm not sure if any of the Nitecore camera battery chargers are still in production.

The MH-34 is the proper Nikon USB PD charger for the EN-EL15c (and also b). It's a pity that they don't make a dual charger like Sony has for their similar 16 Wh batteries.

There are plenty of cheap USB chargers, most of which are limited to 5V/2A (10W) input, so the max you will get is about 1A to one battery. The faster chargers will use PD or QC.

This seems like a nice charger, I like the readout and the 2 battery charging, I assume it charges 1 battery fully then moves on to the next battery?

It can charge both simultaneously.

I did end up buying the Manfrotto charger and like it a lot, can In ask you suteetat do you keep the charger plugged into the wall all of the time? the outlet is behind a cabinet so it's easier for me to keep it plugged in- although thinking about it I guess I could unplug the cord from the charger
Thank you so much for the recommendation

Yes, I leave it plugged in most of the time. Can't remember when I bought it but probably sometimes before Covid and so far so good.
