I have a Q3 with 2 BP-SCL6 batteries. Would like another SCL6 in case one fails. But I also have 2 BP-SCL4 batteries that I used on a (now gone) Q2. Think those 4's are good enough as backups?

I've been using this and it's working great. For $40 I'll take it over the $240 Leica is charging.

True. I found one on KEH early this year. I am told they will be coming, but that said it has been a few month since I was told that.

"Leica has found a new manufacturer and is offering a fresh batch of batteries for their old M digital models"

You can now buy brand new batteries plus third-party battery options.

I wish that were the case for the M240 batteries, but it's not, at least not yet.
