Nice B&W image that captures the raw beauty of this landscape nicely. I was at The Mittens in Oct last year. Great shooting in Northern AZ and up into UT.
Love, love, love the composition on this, and the B/W treatment really works. I would like to see a little more detail in the deep shadows below the image centerline, and a bit more contrast in the sky, but those are minor niggles.

Thanks. And the dark shadow in the middle was the weak spot on this one. Maybe lifting will make it a bit less distracting. Sunset light + an interesting sky is what made this scene interesting to me. Trying to get the plants in the foreground was an experiment that turned out. I didn't think too much of it at the time.
