From a session I did yesterday showcasing a cosplay that the model is doing for an upcoming anime and video game convention. He is dressed up as a character named Ryu from the Street Fighter video game series.
Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 II lens, lit using natural light and a reflector. Editing is meant to match each individual image, as opposed to making every shot have the same look. One thing I did try to achieve with them all was a cinematic look, or to look as if it were rendered in a video game.

Thank you so much Dan! I truly appreciate it. I love sharing these BTS shots to show that creating these images isn't as complicated as some might think it is, and yes as you say it is very little to do with the gear.
