Cool collection. I hitch-hiked around the country in 1962. No Hobbiton then, which I would like to visit.

Beautiful, we went in January. Wish we would have hit Milford Sound.

I really like it when, in addition to amazing images taken around sunrise and sunset, I also see here photos during the day, from hikes or roadtrips. There's so much to see.

Great photos... for whatever reason some time ago I was not overly keen on visiting New Zealand, and just this set is likely to change my mind.

Thanks! It really was an amazing trip. I highly recommend it if you can get enough time to see the country. I suggest three weeks minimum and if it's "only" that long, I'd probably focus just on the South Island so you don't feel rushed. On a map, it looks small but the roads are very winding. In the four weeks we were there, we drove 2600 miles (almost 3900 km) between the two islands...and still felt like there was a big part of the South Island we missed (the southeast).
