Great stuff Jacob. Very natural looking processing at some incredible scenery. Very enjoyable to view.
Thank you for the kind words Derrick! Incredible scenery indeed, and it is a challenge to make it justice...it was my bucket list of destinations for a while
Great photos, I really like them.
They match my memories of that time perfectly. What you can’t see in the pictures is all the rain. Damn, it rained a lot. But without all that rain, the landscape wouldn’t be so green. Like so often in life, everything has its price. Nothing comes without a balance.
When the sun comes out for a moment or the rain just stops and you take that chance, you can create some truly magical photos there.
The Isle of Skye is the most impressive place I’ve seen in all of Scotland. I often think back to that time with fond memories. Thank you for sharing and bringing those moments back to life.
Once I retire, we’ll do the whole trip again with the camper van and spend a few months there. It’s not that far from Germany anyway.
If it’s okay with you, I’d love to add a short video of mine to this thread. I think it could be interesting to show the area in motion as well. It might make the experience of Scotland feel even more real.
But seriously, that endless rain drove me crazy at times 😄
If my post feels out of place, I’ll remove it without hesitation.

Stefan, thank you very much for your kind words! I probably was very lucky not to encounter significant rain - it was quite manageable.
Quite an amazing video! Very nicely done. Thank you very much for posting it - it fits in very nicely :-) I have not done a single video and don't own a drone...so to me it was very interesting to watch it; I am sure others will enjoy it also. 9M views on YouTube - wow, it tells you something! Please don't remove it! It is interesting how familiar places look somewhat differently from above...

#1 is breathtaking...#3 is just beautiful and a place I'd love to see...If those Castle walls could talk.
