Really well. No downsides to my 600GM except the weight and 15fps lim itation. IS is better on the SIgma by some margin.

A male Anna's Hummingbird coming in for a bath, captured with the A1 and FE 300mm f2.8 GM with the 2x TC. Most of the shots in the sequence were slightly out of focus because the bird was too close to focus on and I couldn't back up - this is the full 50MP frame, no cropping done.
