I believe you are using LR for editing your images, right, Geoff? Recently, I did some cloning on images of KF I took in Holland before denoising. They looked okay first but after running some denoising, the cloned areas looked noisy and/or blotchy. Well, it looked like the denoising effect didn't get go all the way to the cloned areas. Was your situation similar?
