Winter light in Phoenix is like a rare guest—hardly visits, but when it does, you roll out the red carpet! Had to make the most of it with some backlit beauties and shorebird snaps.

All of these are absolutely marvelous!
I love the backlighting that creates a lovely rim and highlights the splash. It can be really hard to focus images like this... so thumbs up for nailing it!
