I just purchased a used Tamron 150-600 G2, in "excellent" condition from KEH. When I tried using it on my Z6II and Z50 with both a Nikon FTZ and Viltrox adapter, I keep getting a ERR message. When I mounted the lens on my D7200, it worked fine. Is there a known issue whereby the Tamron G2 doesn't play well with adapters on Z bodies? I should that I don't see a USB connection on the lens and therefore I don't seem able check the software.

The 150-600mm G2 is compatible with the FTZ adapter but requires a firmware update. To do that you need to buy their �tap in console�

I just purchased a G2 on buy- sell and it works fine on the FTZ adapter. Lens is said to be USA, however no sticker on box stating so. If i send SN to Tamron, will they confirm it ?
