I don't exactly "review" things. I basically just shoot. I think the Viltrox is more than fine if you do portraits. I do a good amount of video work as well and noticed that there are a lot of times where the Viltrox just does not grab focus on the subject. I don't know if it's my copy or a known thing, happened repeatedly on the Z6III. I use it sometimes for event work and while the eye AF works it's not spot on in a reliable way so I just used the thing in single point. Viltrox does not have any firmware for the lens still so I'm just getting rid of it. The images from it look fine, but I need things to work in a reliable way. Honestly getting rid of all of my Viltrox stuff baring the 55 1.8 because it's not worth anything. I don't mind the 75 1.2, but I can literally hear the AF trying to catch up on the Fuji while I take bursts with it compared to the 90F2 and I didn't like the 27mm focal length on the 27 1.2 as my wide. I got the XF 23 1.4 and just noticed that I prefer the way that lens renders and the overall focal length and the friggin' size more than the 27 1.2, which is why I barely packed the 27. The Viltrox stuff is "fine" overall, but none of it seemed to fit naturally in my workflow or camera bag in such a way that justified me owning it. The stuff is affordable, but I need more than that. I am not finding the DISCUSSION thread?
Yes, I see this entitled IMAGE THREAD, hope to contribute soon.
Just got mine, my Nikon Z 1.2 trinity is now complete.
Wow!
Built like a tank, big, and heavy, as are the other two, 50/1.2, and 85/1.2
I must have missed an important to me quality of this lens, it is super good at close focusing!
Discovered this from my brief quick play.
This is going to be a fun lens for certain!

It's a "buy once cry once" lens. I've really been enjoying mine since I got it. buggz wrote:
