It has been a while since I have done any significant shooting, but Saturday I visited a local art fair to do some “street” portraits. The day reminded me how much I have missed being out there. C&C always appreciated.
Thanks, Derek

Beautiful tones here Derek! Love the "soft focus" on some. Appears more personal with soft focus.
I am NOT a "facial bling" person when a very pretty young woman is in the frame. My eyes are trying to see her facial beauty thru them. Hard for a 77 1/2 yr olde fart!
Great work!
Dan
A lot there to sift through. A few the top of the head is cut-off, which tends to bug me (but who am I). My favorites, for different reasons, are 2, 3, and 8... Couple others are close.
Wonderful set, Derek! Each are great, taken individually. The last image made me smile -- the figure in the photo on the wall looks like he sprang out of the subject's head like a joyful idea, ejected by escalator wrinkles..

I love that you throw that 1/2 year in there. Thanks for commenting Dan.

That is my favorite image in the set, thank you for the encouraging words.

Beautiful portraits Derek. Your camera is reminding you of how good you are.

Thank you, Steve, for such encouraging words. I have been back shooting for a couple of weeks now, and I am second-guessing everything I do. But despite my insecurities, it is still one of my greatest joys to interact with so many different kinds of people through this style of photography.
