B&H's price for the 135/2L has not changed in at least several weeks, maybe longer. (I only started tracking its price in mid-January). $839 gray market, or $899 USA.
Yes, apparently some have anyway. As sstone noted above, Canoga bumped some of there prices up $10 (they also *lowered* shipping prices during the same time frame so...?).
Anyway, I'd been looking hard at the 50 f/1.4 which was at 299.94 for months (and months), just my luck, the day I go to pull the trigger it's $309.94...oh well.
Interestingly enough, last I checked (Thur. evening) Canoga was listing the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 EX at something aournd $1779.00. The cheapest I had seen that lens at (also for months) was Delta International that list it at around $1820.00 (or something like that).
I figure it's a crap shoot no matter what you do anymore.
original 100 macro (bargain-rated) 1 year ago was $299 at keh. Today, the same lens (bargain-rated) is $325.
other used lenses that have been going up noticeably in price over the years are the 50 1.8 I ($100 1.5 years ago vs $140 now), 80-200 2.8 ($550 1.5 years ago vs $750 now).
Time to start collecting those discontinued lenses! =D
Could be this is caused by all the Nikon switchers, much more demand. If that is true, there should come more lenses to the marked when some early birds are going Nikon with the D2X
In Canada, I noticed the opposite: the Canon lens prices dropping, and dropping continuously. This may have a lot to do with the stronger Canadian dollars. Also, Canon Canada may have decided to be more competitive in their prices to reduce lost business from cross border shopping.
For example, I paid over $2,000 CDN for my 300f4 18 months ago. Today the same lens can be had for $1780 CDN (new).

It's all about the dollar. My Leica equipment would have cost 30-50% more if I were buying it today compared to 2 years ago when I did. The dollars not done as badly against the yen as it has the euro, but it's still way down.
