Grazie @Danpbphoto and @douter, Giuseppe, aka Peppe, is a master framer from Napoli, he's been doing that all of his life and one of the few left, he is the one I take my prints to frame and some day, once I send something to print, he'll have to frame himself, very humble guy, amazing to see how he cuts by hand the thick paper sheets to make passepartouts.
I took the photo with a 50mm and while it is a focal length I am pretty used to and a favorite of mine I can tell than in tight environments it can be too narrow, I would try a 35mm but I dunno if it would give the same out of focus background if shot closer and how about distortions, I have an old but great Distagon 35/1.4 but MF won't do for this kind of shots, even tho he looks like comfortably posing ht was a 5-10 sec window to get the shot, I was luck to have enough time to switch ISO to Auto once I took first shot and heard the shutter being very slow.
