One of Florida's beautiful colored bird, Nice series. You were shooting where many bunches up on the boardwalk.

**Hint** The best time shooting from the boardwalk is an late afternoon session, as the sun from the west hits where you want it.

I LOVE that boardwalk! There was quite a crowd that day. I came back the next day in the late afternoon but the spoonbills were less active. My favorite shot of that afternoon was using the 2X TC on my 600mm f4 to get this GBH coming in for a landing - quite far from my location on the boardwalk. This combo with the 2X TC was much better than I expected and quite usable.
