FYI my A7CII draws about 17-18 watts while charging, per my Anker Prime 9.6K 65W charger's info display.

Interesting. I like the idea of this All-in-one Anker Prime 9.6K 65W product for travel kit since it provides both fast USBC charging and a Power-bank for mobile on the go charging. The display info showing watts pulled while the device is charging is useful too. And includes a USBC charging cable! Have you been able to use the Anker Prime's USBC power-bank to operate your camera ?

Hi LBJ2 - I bought it for the 2-in-1 use case as wall charger and power bank for travel. It just went to Japan. I haven't used it to power the camera, just to recharge it. It has worked well so far as both charger and power bank.

HOWEVER - I did notice that a couple of times I've had to unplug/plugin a device to resume charging after it lost connection with it. It has only happened a couple of times but would make me hesitant to rely on it for a "mission critical" application (like powering a camera for time lapse). No idea if it is a cable, charger or device issue or just a couple of one-off anomalous events.

Thank you for the "However" note. I'll check that out first thing as I am going to try the Anker Prime charger/PB to see if it can also power my A1. Currently I use traditional Power-bank bricks( not really small) for extended camera operations.

Restart the charge?

If your device is not drawing full power then there should be plenty of margin.
I travel with two of the 45W Anker 713 (smaller version of 715) and one 100W of another brand. I keep the 65W Anker at home. I generally don't like the multi-output chargers since they restart the charge when a second high-drain device is plugged in. It's better to have at least two chargers in case of issues.

I have not tested chargers much at 220V/50Hz. Theroetically they may be more efficient.

Do those chargers deliver full power (Providing that the reciving device is capable) if only one device is connected, or there will be a limit per port

For example if a charger is rated for 100w and it has 2 connections type C. And the device I am charging can take 100w . Does the charger delivers 100w to the device or it will limit the output say to 50w because the other 50w is allocated to the other port'

Thanks

It depends on the manufacturer, but in general if the charger is rated for 100W - that’s going to be a total of 100W spread across all ports, NOT 100W max for each port. For example:

The Anker 65W charger that started this conversation has a single, 65W USB-C port
https://www.anker.com/products/a2663

This three-port 100W Anker charger will give you a maximum of 100W total regardless of number of ports used.
https://www.anker.com/products/a2343-100w-usb-c-charger

1. Using one port, you’ll get 100W from a USB-C port or 22.5W from the USB-A

2. Using two ports:
2.a. Using both USB-C ports, you’ll get 50W each
2.b. Using a USB-C port and a USB-A port, you’ll get 77.5W USB-C and 22.5W USB-A

3. Using all three ports (two USB-C and one USB-A) you’ll get about 38.5W from each USB-C port and 22.5W via USB-A

I got the Anker 747 for that reason, it provides 150w total with 4 ports. A single USB-C port will max out at 100w for a laptop so there's headroom for additional devices. Really nice not to have to carry multiple bricks now and most everything is USB-C.

The All-in-one Anker Prime 9.6K 65W arrived. Am currently charging up the PB as it arrived nearly empty so I can test later to see if I can operate my A1 camera with this PB for extended camera operations. So far seems this PB charges up pretty quickly w/ 120V outlet.

I also compared the Anker's Smart Display Watts pulled data with my "chip on a stick" USB/C igital Tester/Power Meter by Eversame ( Amazon.com). Good news is both seem to report device charging Wattage similarly.

I'll need a few days of usage to see if I notice any signs of "lost connection" issues you reported. I also searched the website to see if there might be a firmware update for this charger/powerbank...doesn't look like it.
