I would love to see some actual photos taken with the camera, landscapes, and portraits ?
Just keep in mind all images on the internet are reduced to 72dpi so differences are very hard to discern between even a Phase 150MP camera and an 4/3 images from an Olympus.

Good day. While I can not provide images from the K3 mono I can provide images from the Pentax K-1 ii. I chose an image that had good lighting with a drastic change to cloud shadow to show the versatility of the camera's sensor. Pentax exposes right on metering while sony's tend to underexpose with raw files, so beware. Lens used was the 77m limited. Files were uploaded through flickr.
Below we have a black and white conversion and color conversion using Raw Photo Processor with photoshop cs5. I did use presets in both the Raw conversion processes as the Technical Pan emulation managed the change in lighting the best and Fugichrome Velvia v2 emulation managed the color the best. Very mild post process in photoshop with only slight touching on shadows and sharpening. I have included the RAW DNG so you all could try your own processing.
Comments re: pentax k1 ii - The camera is a pleasure to use albeit a lil heavy. If you don't mind using a dslr than I would recommend the system. Ergonomics are perfect in my opinion. Weight rarely comes into my mind as it is similar the my sony a900 weight and that didn't bother me either. Output is beyond excellent in terms of prints. If you are thinking about a monochrome camera's benefits with increased sharpness etc, i can only imagine you are going to be using a tripod so handheld/weight issue might even be a nothing-burger for you. No camera comes close to Pentax's weather sealing btw. Into the Monsoon!!!! While I have never been too concerned with my Sony Dslr's out in the inclement weather( excellent design mitigating the elements ). I had sufficiently less faith when they moved to the evf's and translucent mirror with the a99. I don't take that camera out in the rain. I have zero experience with their (Sony) mirrorless cameras. If someone could chime in here on that aspect maybe you can have the full run down.

Does the Pentax K-3 Mark III Monochrome offer bracketing of picture styles when shooting in JPEG mode?
I'm torn between Pentax and Nikon's Z system.
Do the unique capabilities of the Pentax K-3 Mark III Monochrome make a meaningful difference with somewhat ordinary portraiture (eg, in the style of the photographer Peter Coulson)?

All shot with the Pentax Monochrome camera.
Yale Campus, CT. Shot using highlight protection metering so post processing done to bring back the shadows as it was a very bright overcast day today.
Pentax DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited lens. Varying apertures. At f/2.4 I didn't like the lens much. Best stopped down. DOF was too shallow. I am borrowing the camera and shooting with it for about two weeks.
TL;DR Amazing tones and incredibly sharp photos if the photographer does his job. Which he sometimes failed to do so. If I had the money I'd buy one.
