A great set of captures, Dan! These cats are so elusive, getting these clean images is a real treasure in my book. That's not to mention that drop-dead gorgeous landscape shot you posted last -- I love everything about that shot. Excellent work all around.
Nice work on these. Love the landscape but would like to see the whole tree. If you had a cat standing on one of the limbs you would have an over the top photo!!

Seeing both is amazing and looks like close proximity to view as well! They are really beautiful as is the last image

Thanks, just hiking across that valley is a very joyful experience.

Thank you. I want to see the whole tree now :~), especially with a cat on its branch.
Some decades ago, I cut some smokin' hot bobcat tracks in the snowy mountains of the Pasayten Wilderness. Curiosity put me in stealthy pursuit for a peek at the alpine ghost, following up to the head end of the steep valley and looping around to the point of beginning. Lo and behold, the cat's pug marks were inside my smokin' hot tracks until the feline obviously got a good look at me on his back-trail and scampered into the dark timber on the northern slope. I smiled and left him to his business and continued on about mine, albeit with a smile for the experience....
