I think Guy was just saying the electronic shutter is far better in the A1 II than in the A7r V that he has been using and not saying that it is better in the A1 II than in the A1.

Yes sorry just busy shooting here in LA and once again running into LED banding . ITs weird I see it in camera when focused up and shooting it disappears. Im on the A7RV

I want them to release the A7V so I can see what that option looks like vs saving up for a used A1 down the line. I guess I want them to get the A1II out in the world to all who want them as well to bring down used prices.
I suspect either one will be enough to hold me over for the next 6 years or so.

No problem, it wasn't exactly urgent.
The on-going LA area is in the news here in the EU as well. You have a scary and unfortunate situation there. I hope nobody gets caught in the fire.
