From earlier today. Caught the high tide, but did not see the high surf that was present a couple of days ago, but it was still a great trip! Sorry about the size. I've not yet learned how to maintain pixel fidelity when down-sizing on export from higher Rez images. Anyway, you can simply click the image to pull it into a frame.

Thanks Guys! It's beyond comprehension to me that such a dramatic display can be had by simply parking your vehicle and walking ten feet to the jetty. Can't wait to go during King Tides!

The Cape Disappointment area is a beautiful place. I shot this lighthouse (North Head) in the fog a couple years back.

I like the light. Nice contrast b/t the bright water and dark land. The mist gives it an ethereal quality. So many different textures in the water depending on how fast its moving and what it is coming in contact with.
