I visited Ecuador for a bird photography trip in late January. This week, I revisited my photos and selected the following images to edit. I’ll be returning to Ecuador this April, and I can’t wait!
Thank you for taking the time to look.

Love them all but the white-booted racket-tail certainly stands out from the crowd!

Thanks Bob. I'm glad you like the white-booted racket-tail as I almost didn't include it.

Superb images Jason. I see you take advantage of time away from your photos to be able to chose the very best without emotional influence.
Morris
Thanks Morris. The time away from these photos wasn't intentional, it was more as a result of other priorities.

Amazing shots! What lens choice did you make and what were the most used? I am going there next two weeks and considering carrying 300 2.8 and 600 f4 though contemplating if 600 f4 will be not necessary? I could carry 70-200 2.8 II as well but again adds more to carry when I am trying to keep the setup minimum air travel standpoint. Any thoughts? I am going to NW of Quito in mindo valley and some two south east of Quito spots as well.
