Last year I speculated that the 50mm Nokton 1.5 VM would be a good candidate for a refresh. It did not happen then, but Cameraquest currently only lists the black MC version, so perhaps this year ?.

Usually when Cosina introduces new versions of existing lenses, they will have discontinued the previous version well in advance (like 6 months earlier or so). Last year they introduced new versions of their VM 35/1.2, 40/1.2, 50/1.2 at CP+ and as usual the previous versions had been discontinued during the previous year (July). Cosina always announce lens discontinuations on their website so they don't happen without being noticed.
Black and Silver MC versions of 50/1.5 Nokton Vintage line II have not been discontinued up to now so I think there wouldn't be any new version being introduced at CP+ this time. They did discontinue the Nickel (Panda) MC and all SC versions long time ago but the two primary MC versions remain.
If there would be a new version of an earlier VM lens this time, I think it would likely be something to replace one or more of the discontinued Ultrons (35/2, 28/2, 75/1.9 etc.) but it might also be that Cosina discontinued those to streamline their lineup without immediate plans for new versions.

There exists already the not well known
90mm 2.0 APO Ultron (M-mount only)
It's really an underrated lens and with a near focus M adapter you can even come over the only downside which is the 90cm minimal focus distance.
So in my opinion there is no need for an APO-Lanthar 90 maybe just the E/Z mount versions of the APO-Ultron.
That is definitely a high performing lens, but would need some adjustment for E mount at least (see Fred's review where he shows how the outer frame performance at wider apertures suffers a bit on the Sony sensor). Voigtlander hasn't brought a 90mm lens to E, Z, or RF mount. They have had the 90 f/2.8 APO for almost 5 years and it has been exclusively a VM lens. Maybe they will break that pattern with the 90 f/2 APO. It was introduced about a year ago and so far no word on other mounts. Perhaps we will hear something at CP+, but I am skeptical Cosina will bring this lens to anything other than VM mount.
It is really a light weight 90mm to 135mm lens in Apo Lanthar quality,
that I am yearning for.
Technically, 450g and f2.8 or f3.5 would probably be a realistic assumption for what could be feasable.
Weight and size being the differentiating factor to the existing zooms in this range.
This would be one of the new lenses they'll certainly bring to CP+ and make available for test shooting there. I think everything else will be forward looking pre-announcements that will be made just 1-2 days before CP+ starts.
This new pancake release is very welcome in my view, and I had asked Cosina to make some pancakes for FF mirrorless, suggesting 40mm and 28mm (along the lines of their X-mount pancake pair) when I discussed with them in last year's CP+. At that time they already seemed positive about that idea and had probably been thinking / planning it already.

The f/1.4 APO macros are probably pretty unlikely as Cosina makes both Voigtlander and some Zeiss lenses including the Zeiss 50 f/1.4 APO Otus.
I would be looking forward to the 90mm ƒ/2,0 on mirrorless. I don't know of anything more 'perfect' that could be added right now to complete the trifecta of 28-50-90 APOs.. I would also be open to the 35mm ƒ/1,5 as an option alternative to the 28mm ƒ/1,5 since that lens is so nice on the "M—System".

Make sure to remind them again about the 28 (in the vein of the Color-Skopar)

Also mention that Fuji X wide 18/2.8 pancake had far too short a focus throw making it almost useless for scale preset focusing and very touchy for EVF focus. Something longer is required ; 90 degrees infinity to 0.7m, 90 degrees 0.7 to 0.4m gives workable handling at human distances.
Thank you very much for your continued support of Cosina products.
Cosina will be exhibiting at CP+ 2026, held at Pacifico Yokohama starting February 26, 2026, as well as participating in CP+ 2026 Online.

We will provide explanatory videos covering recently announced products as well as upcoming reference exhibits. These reference models are scheduled to be unveiled for the first time at CP+ 2026. If you are unable to attend in person or would like to gather information in advance, please take advantage of the online booth.
Information about the CP+ Online Cosina page will be announced on the Cosina website News page on February 24 at 18:30.
Cosina announced Otus ML 35/1.4 today for April release (no specific date given yet). The official Japan price is same as for 85/1.4, so more expensive than 50/1.4.
This should be one of the new lenses that Cosina will show at CP+ this week. I believe they will also pre-announce their other new stuff that will be demonstrated there as prototypes later today (18:30 JST). Keeping an eye out for that.
