When I was practicing with small birds this pale female Lesser Goldfinch landed on the fence. It was cold so she was all fluffed up. I was so happy to see her and her mate as they are the smallest birds that frequent our yard.
A very nice image! I do love seeing the birds in our back yard "puff up" during the winter. That's some crazy bokeh, were the trees blowing around in the wind or do you have a lens that creates this effect?
