For travel I really like the xt5 particularly with the sigma 56 which is small.
As you mentioned the t5 is bigger than the a7c series but the larger lenses 16-55/80 are similar size
I like the ergonomics and viewfinder better than my a7c
(I've used a bunch more but sold them off because I wasn't getting much out of them).
Happy to answer any specific questions - based on your post it seems like you've already made your decision...
The Fuji 16 f2.8 should be a good lens in your desired focal length of 22-24mm FF equivalent, and the 50-140 is a nice 70-200 f2.8 equivalent (with the FF DOF equivalent of f4).
