That is a beautiful portrait. Love the fall off, the soft crisp light, and subtle color. Gorgeous.

It is a very appealing portrait. Soft lighting and a narrow depth of field give it lots of character.

A beautiful portrait Daniel, I love the focus falloff on the back shoulder and soft background.

Everything about this portrait just sings. The beautiful soft light, the make-up that perfectly matches the jewelry on her head, the focus fall-off into the brown backdrop that compliments her eyes and hair. Stunningly good work.

Thank you. I'm glad the shallow depth of field seems to be received well, because I'm always unsure if shooting wide open is the right choice for a closeup portrait like this

Thank you so much Brent. When I initially bought this lens I told myself I would have to refrain from doing close-in portraits with the aperture set wide open, but I honestly love the look so I figured I might as well. That extra wide aperture came at a premium price anyways.
