The fall foliage in West Virginia this year was better than I expected given the hot, dry conditions we experienced. Here are some of my images I liked best. Steve
Nice series, but #7 is my favorite with a great range of colors, a leading line through the valley, and beautiful light. One small suggestion would be to do some defringing on #8. There's quite a bit of purple fringing along the branches where they contrast against the sky.

Great images and beautiful colours. I particularly like no. 5 and 8, those are worth looking at for a long time.
Thank you Cedric! The morning that numbers 4 and 5 were shot, I was shooting with Douglas L., a fellow FM'er, at a nearby state park and the fall colors were not yet at peak and in foggy conditions. We had to work at it a bit to find good compositions. Number 8 was shot at a remote location where I worked professionally over the years and this time was there with my camera in hand. Thanks again for your comments. I appreciate them! Steve
Just beautiful Steve!
I had to go to far Western Maryland and West Va to find any good color.
The lack of rain with hot temps in October and November brought down the leaves fast here!
Congrats on the win! Fine looking cabin!
