Wow Birdie, #8 is my favorite, it really catches the essence of the season beautifully!
If my Mom were still with us, I'd have that printed onto 1000 puzzle pieces for her. She loved puzzles and that one would have driven her crazy! (in her favorite way)

Your work is always a pleasure to view because it is unpredictable. I often expect hummingbirds, but am often pleasantly surprised by something different that is presented in a unique way. The use of shallow depth of field in some of your macro vignettes are examples of what I am suggesting. These are lovely photos and very intriguing to view... pictures 1 and 5 are definitely my favorites
