A couple of my friends often put together events in my area where a handful of models and photographers get together at a location with a certain theme in mind and they collaborate with each other to make some really cool photos. Yesterday was one of those events. I usually attend, but often times my social anxiety gets in the way of me actually photographing the models, and instead I typically hang out and have a good time while taking a few picture here and there of the photographers instead of the models. Cody is one such photographer, but he's such a great photo subject that I am more than happy photographing him any time I get the chance. Here is one of those photos of Cody which I took at the event yesterday.
Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II lens, lit using natural light and a reflector.
Daniel,
Technically this photo is flawless, and I do like it. However, his expression makes me question his consent to having his photo taken. My wife says I over analyze things - so maybe I am all wet. I love the tones, dof, and background, and the subject with a different expression.

Thanks Jim. He's a photographer and not a model. This is the expression he wears every single time I have taken his photo, and every time I photograph him it is with consent. For example: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1843755/0#16457587
