Good timing I guess

Did about a 35 mile loop in Mt Hood this morning. Brought the R5_2 and the 24-105 along for the ride. Whiped it out and snapped a few as I could. Amazing start to fall-

Summer on Cape Cod ended with 9" of rain and 2 days of 40+ MPH wind gusts. Fall started the same way, but cleared for a short window this afternoon.

This is the Old Harbor Lifesaving Station in Provincetown.

First post for Fall 2024.

I've always loved seeing bright, colourful reflections on still water that's smooth as glass. A few days ago at sunrise I was at a rural pond trying to capture some of that beauty in a video. The starring cast of characters in this little movie include a Glossy Isis on its way to Florida via Ottawa no less!!!

, some lively Greater Yellowlegs and a couple of spunky little Wilson's Snipes. Hope you enjoy.

Hi Dave, In some of the higher locations it's not uncommon for snow to stick around all year. Especially if it's not in direct sunlight.
