This is Goat Island Lighthouse in Cape Porpoise, Maine. I was practicing blue hour shots. I am disappointed in the noise level from the Z9. This has been run through a Topaz denoise program.
I would image you must have to have had your ISO cranked pretty high to capture those gulls during blue hour. Thus the extensive noise. Might have tried a few at lower ISO and longer shutter speeds (5-30 seconds) to smooth out the water and reduce the noise. I have some lighthouse shots done with long exposure and I think the time between flashes was 30 seconds so I shot at 29 to capture one flash.
